Managing Director & Business Owner

Troy is responsible for overall business management and plays a key role in the accounting and sales processes. Troy came from the tourism industry where he had gained several years of management experience as Divisional Manager of a recreational dive operation in Cairns.

Steve Myher
Business Development Manager

Steve joined our team in Sept 2021 and has a strong background in Business Development and maintaining effective client relationships within the service industry. Steve has performed operations management, sales, and estimating for over 30 years throughout North Queensland and has business qualifications in front line management.

Chris Artuso
Operations Manager

Chris brings passion and strong organisational skills to his role, leading the implementation of our staff management system. Chris oversees staff rostering, on-site training, mentoring, and performance reviews, and is committed to building a positive, inclusive, and motivated workforce. Passionate about staff development, he provides ongoing training to ensure teams meet industry standards while continually improving operational efficiency and service quality.

David Huggins
Customer Service Manager

Dave is responsible for managing our periodic cleaning division. Dave joined our team in April 2019. His introduction to the cleaning industry commenced in 1995 as Facilities Manager at one of our local shopping centres and to date he has been responsible for managing cleaning operations on many large sites. He has a strong background in sales and cleaning operations with over 30 years’ experience.

Sherrin McKenzie
Chief Financial Officer

Sherrin McKenzie takes on the challenging task of the Chief Financial Officer for Cairns & Townsville Cleaning Contractors. Sherrin joined us in 2017 from a strong business background. Sherrin holds Diplomas in Business, Finance & Accounting & Management. Responsible for various tasks including finance & accounting, administration, payroll and QA support to the business. With over 30 years’ experience in this field I believe Sherrin brings a lot of value and efficiency to the business.

Periodics Coordinator

Bill is the longest-serving member of our management team and a true custodian of our core principles and values. His years with the business have given him a deep understanding of our clients and their evolving needs, enabling him to provide valuable insight as we grow. With a forward-thinking mindset, Bill helps shape the company’s future while staying grounded in what makes us successful. He brings energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine personal touch - qualities we’re known for - and proudly represents us at BNI.

Greg Postle
Periodics Team Leader - NQ

Greg joined the team over 10 years ago from a variety of industries where he gained a great deal of experience in personnel management. Greg runs the periodic maintenance teams involved with such scheduled tasks as carpet cleaning, pressure cleaning, vinyl stripping and re-sealing/wet scrubbing and buffing, window cleaning, external cleaning, internal wall/fan/ceiling cleaning among others.

Mark Angeloni
Client Services Manager

Mark joined the team in 2025, with a background in a variety of industries where he gained a great deal of experience in personnel management. Mark runs the periodic maintenance teams involved with scheduled tasks such as builder’s cleans, carpet cleaning, pressure cleaning, vinyl stripping and re-sealing/wet scrubbing and buffing, window cleaning, external cleaning, internal wall/fan/ceiling cleaning among others.

Night Supervisor

Adrian joined our team in 2025, bringing extensive experience in high-detail cleaning and quality-focused service delivery. He currently serves as our Night Supervisor, overseeing evening operations and ensuring exceptional standards are consistently met. Adrian is passionate about staff development, providing ongoing training to keep team members aligned with industry best practices. Committed to continuous improvement, he plays a key role in refining operational procedures, enhancing efficiency, and delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.

Tanzi Polkinghorne
Admin & Accounts

Tanzi recently joined our team in 2022, coming from a strong hospitality management background. Tanzi works alongside the CFO in all account’s client & vendor account matters, payroll & administration. A strong work ethic, hands on experience with customer relations & customer service encourages a healthy dynamic within our team.

Karina Smith
Aged Care Manager

Karina brings over 30 years of dedicated customer service experience in Cairns. She expertly manages training staff and oversees scheduling for a range of services, including domestic cleaning, spring cleans, and lawn maintenance, primarily serving aged care clients in Cairns and the Tablelands. Collaborating closely with numerous aged care providers, Karina ensures that all cleaning and maintenance services are delivered professionally and to the highest standards, supporting the comfort and well-being of elderly clients in the community.

Rebecca Powell
Operations

Rebecca joined our team in 2021. She brings 30 years of experience and has a sound knowledge of cleaning operations and is skilled in all cleaning procedures. Rebecca has a strong background in Quality Assurance and Client Service delivery in Major Retail Stores, Banks, Government Departments and Airports. Rebecca holds qualifications in Asset Maintenance and Frontline Management.
